On November 17th, during the M for Montreal festival, MetaMusic engaged with the industry by participating in the Artist Lab. On this occasion, the MetaMusic teams presented the latest improvements to the Beta version of their data entry platform!

Among them:

  • Validation and/or assignment of your ISNI (identifier for your artistic entity)
  • Direct import of your SOCAN catalog via IPI code recognition
  • Connection and validation of your Artisti performer accounts
  • Retrieval of IPNs and group information
  • Integration of your Artisti statements with a single click
  • Integration of your SOPROQ statements with a single click (finalization on Octave)

During this industry meeting, the gradual deployment of the platform was announced. Throughout the months of December and January, the Alpha version underwent testing through a panel consisting of about twenty diverse and representative members of the music industry in Quebec.

This testing phase led to various adjustments and validated the functional nature of the platform. In early February 2024, MetaMusic will release its fully free Beta version accessible to everyone.

Throughout 2024, several enhancements are already planned to provide an optimized experience for creators, rights holders, and active industry businesses.
