Importing My SOCAN Catalog

• Only Authors, Composers, Author-Composers, Arrangers, Adapters, Translators, Publishers, and Sub-Publishers have access to importing their SOCAN catalog.
• Make sure you have added your IPI to your role.

• In your SOCAN portal, download your music catalog in CSV format.
• In the main menu of MetaMusic, click on the Works tab.
• Click on: “Import catalog”
• Click on the next file icon
• Select your CSV file.
• Click on: “Import catalog”
• If some works could not be imported, you will receive an email detailing the non-imported works and unrecognized collaborators. An “unrecognized collaborator” is someone not yet registered in MetaMusic.
• Once these collaborators are registered, you can reload your catalog, and the missing works will synchronize.
